A listed Georgian traditional pub with a small main bar. There are two fireplaces at the front with woodburners, and there is an open chimney at the back in what is used as a games area which has a pool table and dartboard. Live football matches are shown on the TVs. There is a collection of ten wooden barrels forming a canopy over the counter, each barrel fronted by the crest of a Navy unit as a befits a pub close to the nearby Fleet Air Arm base.
