Situated in a picturesque village near the Brendon Hills and close to the WSR steam railway, this traditional freehouse is a Grade II listed building. The bar has a friendly atmosphere with cosy log fire. Ales are from local and regional breweries. There is a courtyard garden. The separate restaurant, originally the Market Hall, serves Somerset produced food. The skittle alley doubles as a function room and hosts a music festival in September. Accommodation is via an outside stairwell. Breakfasts are an additional service from 9am to 1pm daily. Also freshly made at the pub are scones and cakes during the day.
