This pub is owned and operated by the Halse Community. Nestling between the Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park the New Inn is an 18th century former coaching inn situated in the quaint village of Halse, seven miles from the Somerset county town of Taunton on the B3227 at Heathfield or A358 at Bishops Lydeard and only forty minutes walk from the famous West Somerset Railway. Usualy three varying ales from Otter and Dartmoor breweries. Facilities include B and B rooms, quiz, themed menu evenings. A wonderful rear garden is very welcoming in fine weather. A splendid Cafe is open in the rear ammenity/skittle alley serving breakfasts, coffee, teas and various cakes and sandwiches etc. and open Wednesday to Saturday during the day from 10.30am to 3.00pm
