This free house originally built in 1705 had a splendid major refurbishment in 2016 but retains originality with some 16th century wooden beams, traditional furniture and a double sided fireplace. Excellent and varied menu from locally sourced suppliers. Kind, friendly and helpful staff makes this pub a popular destination and it is well worth a visit. Has an excellant garden and a large skittle alley. The pub hosts live music and a music & beer festival planned.
