A short walk from the town centre towards Chard takes you to this well hidden traditional pub where there are two constantly changing and often interesting cask ales with a range of cans and ciders. An array of pump clips adorning the beams shows the huge range of beers that have been served. Well used skittle alley across the sheltered outside drinking area ensures plenty of guaranteed regular punters. There is a happy hour every Monday & Wednesday between 4 pm - 7 pm. Beer festivals held in May and the end of September. No food served. Live music at weekends.
