See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

A former Wadworths pub situated five minutes from the A303, the Haymaker is a traditional country inn set in the foothills of the Isle Valley. It is ideally located between the two Somerset towns of Ilminster (5 minutes) and Chard (5 minutes). Muddy dogs and muddy boots are welcome in the bar and garden areas only. There are facilities to the rear that could be used as a one stop for motorhomes. There are 5 en-suite double letting rooms, all recently refurbished to a high standard, starting from £60 per night with a full English breakfast. Bar snacks are served lunchtime and a roast is available on Sundays. There is a full menu in the evenings but no food on Sunday evening.
